23rd Victorian Universities Earth and Environmental Sciences Conference (VUEESC) 2009

AuScope SAM Vic are Silver Sponsors of VUEESC 2009, which will be held on Tuesday 27th October at Monash Univerity. This student-organised conference is aimed at students from across Victoria (and Australia-wide) in Earth Sciences and related fields. It is a great opportunity for all Honours, Masters and PhD students to present aspects of their research to fellow students and academics.


AuScope SAM Vic at eResearch Australasia 2009

AuScope SAM Vic will be participating in eResearch Australasia 2009, 9 - 13 November 2009:

  • AuScope Booth (along with other AuScope components)
  • talk by Wendy Mason, Underworld eResearch Officer "ARCS Compute Grid Supporting Research Community Development: the Underworld Case Study" (short and extended abstracts)

AuScope SAM Vic at SC09

Wendy Mason will be attending SC09. The event wil be held in Portland, Oregon, USA from 14 - 20 November 2009. SC09 is the premier international conference on High Performance Computing (HPC), networking, storage and analysis.
